The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine" (re Responsibility for Illegal Sowing or Growing of Opium Poppy or Hemp)

The Law envisages responsibility for violation of the procedure of narcotic drugs circulation, esp. for illegal sowing or growing of opium poppy or hemp. The Law introduces relevant amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and the Criminal Code.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 1267.
